St. Mary Catholic School admits students regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, and national origin, to the full extent required by federal and state law.  St Mary Catholic School commits to admitting students without regard to their academic ability, special educational needs, or primary language, provided that there are good prospects of meeting their needs without unduly prejudicing the education and the welfare of other pupils.

Priority of Admission:

  1. First priority for admission is given to children with siblings already attending St. Mary Catholic School and who are registered,  and participating parishioners (defined below), and in good standing with the school and parish.
  2. Second priority will be given to children of registered and participating parishioners (defined below) of St. Mary Parish.
  3. Third priority will be given to children of registered and participating members of other Catholic parishes who do not have a school or who are new to the area.
  4. Fourth priority will be given to children of families who are non-registered/non-practicing Catholics.
  5. Fifth priority will be given to children of families from other religious denominations or faith backgrounds.

2019-2020 REGISTRATION DEADLINES

Families currently enrolled in the 2018-19 school year will be given enrollment priority until February 28, 2019. On March 1, 2019 open enrollment will begin for new families. If classes are at full capacity when registration documentation is submitted, the student will be placed on a wait-list for the grade. From the waiting list, students of participating St. Mary Parish (Woodstock) parishioners will be given priority, then all other students based upon the date and time the registration documents were submitted. The registration fee will be held, and returned if a spot does not becomes available.

New Family Registration Policy: Once your child’s registration is confirmed, we require new families to meet with our Principal, Mr. Vince Sossong. St. Mary staff will contact you to schedule the meeting. New families requesting the participating parishioner rate from St. Mary Parish in Woodstock, IL will need to schedule a meeting with our Pastor, Fr. Burt Absalon to discuss any pastoral needs and participating parishioner requirements.
